Hi,

 

I'm Giovanna Fionda and welcome to my new site. It has been a long time coming!!

​

I am a 'Jack of all Trades' type of person and I find inspiration to paint from so many places, people, books, internet- the list is endless.  

​

My favourite medium are pastels and charcoal, although I continue to experiment with others every now and then. However, I love to get lost in a painting, getting my hands dirty and forgetting about the world around me. 

​

I began painting 8 years ago when my dad wanted to join an art class in a community hall in Uddingston. I said I'd go along with him to see if I could paint something simple. Low and behold both of us learned so much from our talented teacher, Duncan Brown, and both of us developed our drawing and painting abilities.
